Interesting theory, but Bowser became Dry Bowser in New Super Mario Bros., after he fell into the Lava at the end of World 1. Bowser Jr. brought him back to life as Dry Bowser in World 8, and then in the Final Castle, Bowser Jr. Throws him into a Cauldron, which fully revives Bowser (Skin and all).
